2. Appointment Booking & Confirmation

Accuracy of Information

Patients must provide complete, true, and accurate health history, personal details, contact information, and current medical symptoms/conditions when scheduling an appointment.

Confirmation

An appointment is considered confirmed only after you receive a formal confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp along with a consultation link or appointment reference ID.

3. Consultation Fee & Payment Terms

Payment Requirement

Consultation fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the appointment through our authorized secure payment gateways.

Fee Structure

All consultation fees, follow-up charges, and procedure fees listed on the website are subject to change at our discretion.

4. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

Patient Cancellation

Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time are eligible for a full refund or free rescheduling.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled time or failure to join the virtual call or arrive at the clinic will result in forfeiture of the consultation fee.

Doctor Cancellation

In the rare event that the doctor/practitioner needs to cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances or medical emergencies, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at your convenience.

5. Patient Responsibilities During Virtual Consultations

Technology Requirements

Patients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, functional camera, and microphone for virtual video consultations.

Privacy & Environment

Patients should join the call from a well-lit, private, and quiet environment to allow the dermatologist/trichologist to assess skin or hair conditions properly.

Photography / Visuals

You may be requested to upload high-clearity photographs of the affected skin or scalp area prior to the consultation to assist with diagnosis.

6. Prescriptions & Treatment Plans

Clinical Judgment

Prescriptions, skin/hair care regimens, and treatment recommendations are provided solely at the professional discretion of the attending doctor.

Medication Compliance

Patients must strictly follow prescribed dosages, patch testing instructions, and application guidelines. We are not liable for adverse reactions resulting from non-compliance or undisclosed allergies or medical conditions.

7. Privacy & Data Security

Your personal health information, medical history, consultation notes, and uploaded photos are confidential.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Cosmed Clinic and its doctors shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages resulting from technical interruptions during online calls, poor connectivity affecting medical assessment, or failure by the patient to follow medical instructions.
